October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month. We are going full-tilt in the month of October. First, we are going to be announcing a new partnership with some California-based organizations focused on IT and Security community. Second, we are going to be putting daily security and compliance content on social media. Lastly, we are going to be putting out weekly blog content to help simplify cybersecurity. Building a Community of IT and Cybersecurity Professionals

Interlaced is excited to be partnering with several organizations to help build a sense of community in IT. Our core philosophy, “propelling teams towards their dreams,” relies on a connected ecosystem of IT professionals. Ensuring small businesses are secure and efficient relies on a multitude of stakeholders all working together. This community will persist long after Cybersecurity Awareness Month.

Sharing Useful Cybersecurity Tips and Tricks

Knowledge is power. First, Cybersecurity can be overly complex. Second, security is filled with jargon. However, you don’t have to have a PhD to understand how to protect your small business. Finally, there are small things you can do today that will greatly protect your organization. Interlaced will share daily tips and tricks over October to help you better understand cybersecurity.

Providing Educational Materials to Simplify Cybersecurity for Small Businesses

Cybersecurity is scary for several reasons. First, the perception is that good cybersecurity must be expensive. Second, cybersecurity product literature is complex and riddled with jargon. Third, cybersecurity marketing tends to play on fears, rather than clearly defining capability. Lastly, the preponderance of security products and features makes it difficult to select the right product.
